Guest Tagging with zkipster as Professional Users
As a Professional Event user it's possible to use zkipster's color coding system to tag guests in multiple ways.
The colors are a part of zkipster's seating feature but even when not using the seating function, it's still possible to take advantage of color tagging.
To upload a color for each of the guests, make sure seating is turned on in the Event Settings. This can also be turned on when first creating the event and setting up the Event Details.
Then on the guest list excel designate a column for Seating Color and fill in by the color tagging system being put in place. In the example below, blue indicates VIP guests and the yellow indicates general guests.
The colors available are Yellow, Red, Blue, Pink and Green.
Once the guest list is uploaded into zkipster, customize the desktop view with the little icon to the left of the grey drop downs. Include the Seating Color field to be displayed along with any other information needed. Filter by the specific colors when clicking directly on the column.
Other items zkipster users use to tag include...
- Dining Preferences
- Who's bringing additional guests
- Who has paid vs who hasn't
- Tagging large groups to be associated with one another
- And anything else you can think of. Feel free to share your ideas at the bottom of this article as well for other zkipster users!
Use your event expertise to utilize these tags so all the most relevant guest information is easily available and accessible for an event.
On the zkipster App
To be able to use this tagging system while on the app, customize the app columns through the Guest Fields tab located in the Left Hand Menu from the desktop. This article shows how this can be done in more detail and as an example for what this can look like, see the image below.
