Activate color coding in Event Settings
As a Professional Event user, you can use zkipster's color coding system to categorize your guest lists.
Color coding is activated from our Dynamic Seating Charts feature.
To upload a color for each of your guests, by sure to toggle on Dynamic Seating Charts in the Professional Features section of your Event Settings, when you create your event.
Denote corresponding guest color in your guest list
Before importing your list into zkipster, you can indicate the color you'd like to categorize your guests by. To do this, use the label Seating Color and add one of the corresponding colors below for each of guests you'd like to denote a color for. In the example below, blue indicates VIP guests and yellow indicates general guests.
Choose from the following color options: Yellow, Red, Blue, Pink and Green.
Once your guest list is imported into zkipster, you can view your list by color by customizing your desktop view. Just click the small web view icon with three gray bars, at the top of your guest list. Display the Seating Color along with any other information you'd like to see. Click the field name to sort by color.
Here are a few example of guest preferences that can be categorized by color:
- Dining Preference
- Guests bringing plus ones
