Once the guest list is imported zkipster users will likely want to organize guest data so it's easily presentable, searchable and prevents any head aches.
First thing to do after importing a guest list is customizing the desktop view.
Customizing Columns for Web View options
The box icon directly to the left of the grey action drop downs will allow zkipster users to select which fields are displayed in the guest view and in which order on the desktop view.
Please Note: The field is in the first column on the left hand side will be how the list is automatically sorted by. Clicking on the specific columns will sort the list by that field as well.
Customizing zkipster App Columns
The Guest Fields tab is located in the left hand menu. From here, organize fields in a specific order and hide certain fields that shouldn't be displayed on the zkipster app when checking in guests.
It's also possible to create custom fields from here. If creating new fields from this screen, it would require importing the guest list again for data to be populated in the newly added field.
The device previewer at the top of the screen will allow zkipster users to see exactly how the columns will look when logged into an event guest list on the whatever devices are being used.
- Move fields around by clicking and dragging the boxed icon on the left hand side of the field.
- Choose the order of the fields to be displayed on the apps
- Edit and delete any Custom Fields with the Pen or Garbage can icon next to the field.
- Default fields can't be deleted but can be hidden from the app by clicking on the pencil icon and selecting the box to hide the field from check-in apps.
The top 6 fields will be displayed on the app columns in landscape mode and can be verified with the device previewer before saving.
Please Note: When changes aren't reflected on the app right away refresh the app by closing out of it and opening it back up. Make sure to also always have the most up to date version of the app by checking the app store. Deleting and downloading the app again is a quick way to do this as well.
