zkipster Audience makes it easy to monitor updates across your contacts, lists, segments, tags, fields, and overall account. Whether you are reviewing when a contact was added, who updated a tag, or what automation ran, the Activity Log and Contact Activity panel give you full visibility.
Tracking Changes to a Contact’s Profile
You can view a detailed activity history for any contact by accessing their profile in expanded mode:
Step-by-Step:
Open the contact’s profile:
Double-click the contact in your Audience.
OR click once to preview, then click the double-headed arrow icon (top-right corner) to expand the profile.
Scroll to the “Contact Activity” panel at the bottom right of the contact view.
Review activity entries, each showing:
Relative timestamp (e.g. "3 days ago").
Author of the action (username or "System" if the change was made via automation).
Description of the change.
Detailed tooltip with the exact timestamp - hover over the entry to reveal it.
Please Note: Activity logs on are only visible when viewing the contact profile in expanded mode. The timestamps follow the same format as defined in your account settings.
Tracking Changes to Lists, Segments, Tags, Fields, or Account
To monitor updates outside of individual contact profiles, you can use Audience's Activity Log.
The Activity Log feature keeps a log of changes made to Lists, Segments, Tags, Fields or changes made to users and account level changes, such as updates to the 'Configurations' or 'Integrations' settings.
Step-by-Step:
Click the ‘Configurations’ button from the left hand side menu.
Open the ‘Activity Log’ tab:
Browse the log, which includes:
A chronological list of changes.
Timestamps, authors, and brief descriptions
Click ‘View More’ for additional details.
Once you click on 'View More', a pop up displays further details about the specific change and allows you to easily navigate to the respective contact, list, tag, filter, segment or account settings to revert the changes:
Using Filters to Locate Specific Changes
You can refine the Activity Log report and search for specific changes by using filters.
From the top of the 'Activity Log' page, use the "Add Filter +" button to filter the logs by:
Date: Choose a time range to narrow your results.
Type: Focus on changes to a specific item (e.g. lists, tags, contacts).
Author: View changes made by a particular team member.
