There are different ways to add new contacts to your zkipster Audience contact list:
Adding individual contacts manually;
Uploading a spreadsheet;
Importing your zkipster Events's guests' data to create new contacts.
This article walks you through how to manually create a new contact in your zkipster Audience account.
Creating a New Contact Manually
1 - From the left-hand side menu, click on Contacts to open your master contact list.
2 - Click on the Add Contacts button located in the top-right corner. Select Add Individual Contact from the dropdown menu.
3 - Fill out your contact information using the default fields and custom fields.
4 - You can associate multiple email addresses, organizations, phone numbers, postal addresses and social media handles to the same contact. To do that, simply click on the 'Add (...) +' button displayed below the specific field section:
If you need to remove the additional information, simply click on the minus ( - ) icon.
5 - Add Tags (Optional)
To make it easier to locate, categorize and manage your contacts in Audience, use the 'Tags' feature to code your guests according to your own criteria. Click on the 'Add Tag' dropdown menu to associate an existing tag with the contact you are editing or use the option 'Create Tag +' to create a completely new tag:
Please Note: Any tags created during this step will become available to be used on all contacts. Learn more about Audience tags via this article here.
6 - Define Relationships (Optional)
To associate the new contact with an existing one, click Add Relationship.
Search for the existing contact and select the appropriate relationship type (e.g., co-worker).
7 - Add More Custom Fields (Optional)
Scroll to the Custom Fields section to view existing custom fields.
Click Create Custom Field to add new fields. You can choose from types like:
Text Box
Text Area
Number
Single Choice
Multiple Choice
Date
URL
For example, to associate a website with a contact, choose URL as the custom field format, name the field “Website,” and click Save.
8. Upload a Contact Photo (Optional)
Click on the profile icon and select Add Photo to upload a picture.
9. Save the Contact
Once all information is entered, click Save Contact.
Managing and Locating Contacts
Use the Search Bar, Tags, or Filters to quickly find your contacts.
Click on a contact’s name to view their profile.
To edit a contact, click the Pencil Icon and make the necessary updates.
