We’re excited to share that the new Salesforce Integration feature is currently in development as part of zkipster’s planned Integration Hub.
The integration will allow users to manually import Salesforce Campaign Members into Guest Lists in zkipster Events and export zkipster Guests into Salesforce Campaigns, while maintaining full control over which data is transferred between platforms.
In summary, the upcoming Salesforce integration will enable you to:
Import Salesforce Campaign Members into a Guest List in zkipster Events
Export zkipster Guests into a Salesforce Campaign
Map fields between Salesforce and zkipster Events during import and export actions
Choose whether to update existing records, create new ones, or both
Maintain a structured link between a zkipster Guest and a Salesforce Campaign Member
This integration will be available as an add-on to all plan levels.
Connecting Salesforce
Users with the add-on will connect Salesforce to their zkipster account through a guided onboarding flow using a secure connector.
During onboarding, the user will:
Connect their Salesforce account
Map required fields
Confirm default Salesforce values used when required data is missing
Run a health check to validate the connection and required mappings
Once validated, the account will be marked as connected.
Syncing Guests Data Between Salesforce and zkipster Events
Accurately update guest details, guest lists, RSVP statuses, and attendance figures through automatic workflows so that your wider stakeholders can keep up to date with changes to your events inside your Salesforce CRM.
Importing Guests
The Import from Salesforce option allows you to bring Salesforce Campaign Members into a zkipster Guest List.
During import, you can:
Select a Salesforce Campaign
Choose (or create) a Guest List in your event
Map Salesforce fields to zkipster Events fields
Update existing guests' details
Imported guests are linked to their corresponding Salesforce Campaign Member to maintain data consistency.
Exporting Guests
The Export to Salesforce option allows you to send Guest List data from zkipster Events back to a Salesforce Campaign.
In summary, you can:
Export selected guests or a full list
Update existing Campaign Members, create new ones, or both
Map zkipster Events fields to Salesforce objects (Campaign Member, Lead, Contact, Account)
New records are created as Leads and added to the selected Campaign.
