Payments Reporting: Exporting Payment Data

Export payment data collected through zkipster, pulled directly from Stripe

Written by Pedro Barleta

This article covers the two ways to export payment data, depending on the scope you need.

Please note: Because your payment data lives in Stripe rather than in zkipster, exporting it pulls the latest information from Stripe at the moment you run the export.

Before you start

Option 1: Export payment data for a single event

Use this when you want payment data for one event, alongside your usual guest report.

  1. Open the event and go to Reports in the left-hand menu.

  2. Click Export.

  3. Tick the Payments Data option alongside the fields you'd normally export.

  4. Click Export.

Please note: The export only includes guests who have made at least one payment. Guests with no payment activity are not included in the Payments Data columns.

This is the fastest option for most single-event requests.

Option 2: Export payment data across your account

Use this when you need a larger pull — across multiple events, or over a longer time period.

  1. Click New Export.

  2. Select Payments Data alongside any other data you'd like to include (such as Guest Data).

  3. Submit your export.

This export runs in the background. You'll see a note on screen confirming "We will email you once your download is ready," and you'll receive an email with a download link once it's complete.

Please note: As with the event-level export, only guests with payment activity will appear in the Payments Data columns.

Which option should I use?

If you need...

Use

Payment data for one specific event

Reports → Export (event-level)

Payment data across multiple events, or a larger historical pull

Account Settings → Data Export (account-level)

A note on guest list visibility

Payment status isn't currently shown directly on the guest list overview. You can see whether an individual guest has paid by opening their profile (see How to View and Manage Guest Payments), or use one of the export options above to get a full list of who has and hasn't paid for an event.
