Managing your guest list effectively starts with building a solid Audience contact list. zkipster offers three different ways to add new contacts to your Audience, giving you flexibility based on your needs—whether you’re dealing with one guest or thousands.
This guide provides a quick overview of the three methods available, and links to detailed instructions for each.
1. Add a New Contact Manually
If you need to add an individual contact to your Audience list, you can do so manually in just a few clicks. This method is ideal for quickly creating a new contact without using a spreadsheet or event import.
When adding a contact manually, you’ll input their details (such as name, email, and custom fields) directly into zkipster. You can also assign them with specific tags within your Audience contact list for future segmentation.

2. Import Contacts via Spreadsheet Upload
To add multiple contacts to your Audience account at once, uploading a spreadsheet can be an efficient method. This is perfect when you have your contacts' data in Excel or CSV format.
To avoid running into errors when importing via spreadsheet upload, zkipster provides you with a spreadsheet template that already follows our formatting guidelines.
Once your file is ready to be uploaded, the system allows you to map your spreadsheet columns to Audience fields during the import process, ensuring accurate data syncing.
This method supports bulk upload of contacts. It’s ideal for adding large contact lists or syncing contacts from external sources (for example, your CRM).

3. Add Guests from Events to your Audience Contact List
If you have already managed events in zkipster Events and want to build your Audience contact list using data from guests in your event(s), you can import them directly from the event(s) guest lists using the Events x Audience integration. This is a great way to grow your Audience contact list with verified, engaged attendees.
The integration can be set up in a way that any new guests created in Events are also created as contacts in your Audience account. It also allows you to track any updates captured in Events and sync those with Audience so that you have an accurate and up to date contact list.

Final Thoughts
Each method serves different scenarios—whether you're updating an existing contact, importing guests from past events, or entering new contacts on the go. Choose the method that fits your workflow best and combine them as needed to keep your Audience list current and organized.
