To ensure the compliance of events' health and safety, event planners can use zkipster tools to request and verify guests' COVID-19 vaccination statuses. This article will give you an overview of the different features available and direct you to our Help Center resources with further information on how to use each of them.
The available features are the following:
COVID-19 Certificate Feature: this integration enables event planners to verify and store guests' ClearPass or EU digital COVID Certificates and equivalents, such as the NHS COVID Pass from the UK, or the Switzerland's COVID Certificate, at the point of check-in.
Form Attachments: require guests to upload files when submitting their RSVP to your event, such as COVID certificates and vaccination cards, or other additional documents that your event requires.
Consent Form: obtain your guests' e-signature acknowledging they meet the event Health and Safety requirements or confirming they have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19, for example. Generate and download a PDF file with guests' consent forms for future reference.
COVID-19 Certificate Integration
The COVID-19 Certificate Integration is available to all zkipster users and enables event planners to scan and verify guests' digital COVID-19 Certificates. The feature can be used to scan ClearPass certificates, EU Digital COVID-19 Certificates and equivalents, such as the NHS COVID Pass from the UK, or the Switzerland's COVID Certificate.
Account Owners and Administrators can activate or deactivate this feature when creating a new event or when editing the current settings of an existing event. Users can also choose if they want to store or not the guests' certificates for future reference.
Please note: the ClearPass Certificates cannot be stored in zkipster, only the approval or rejection information. The option to save and store the certificate is only available for the EU Digital COVID-19 Certificates and equivalents.
Once the feature is enabled on your event, your event host will be able to scan the guests’ COVID Certificate’s QR Code at the moment of check-in using the zkipster mobile app. When the QR Code is scanned, a pop-up window will display if the certificate is valid or not. The event host will be able to approve or reject the guest’s certificate based on whether the information displayed matches the event’s requirement or not.
Please note: not all certificates contain the same information. The ClearPass certificate does not provide a granular information on the user status - it just identifies the person and show if their Covid vaccine status is valid on their systems or not.
The EU Digital COVID-19 Certificate and equivalents will identify the guest and display informations such as the amount of COVID-19 vaccine doses the guest have taken and from which manufacturer.

Form Attachments
The Form Attachment feature is available on the Professional and Enterprise plans and allows zkipster users to request guests to upload their vaccination cards or certificates when submitting their RSVP, making it possible for event planners to validate their guests' documents prior to the event.
The submitted files will be available on each Guest Profile, where users can download or delete them. The feature has a 5MB limit per document and only accepts .pdf, .png, and .jpg/jpeg file extensions.
Event hosts will also be able to view the guest’s documents at the moment of check-in using the zkipster mobile app. The documents are available on the Guest Details on view mode only and requires the device to be connected to Wi-Fi.

Consent Form
The Consent Form feature enables Professional and Enterprise users to obtain consent from their attendees via e-signature while also being able to collect other important guest information ahead of an event or during check-in.
Event planners can use this tool to collect a signed confirmation from guests that they have been vaccinated against COVID-19 or that they had a negative test result, for example.
You can also use the Consent Form QR code to obtain guest consent at the time of check-in by sharing the form with your guests via the generated QR code. Upon scanning the QR code, guests can include the requested information before entering the event.
Once the Consent Form is submitted, a PDF file is generated and saved under the Guest Profile for future reference and can be downloaded.
