Streamline your event setup by importing guest lists and assigning seats effortlessly.

zkipster enables you to upload your guest lists to save time and streamline the process of creating your guest list. With this process, you can also assign a table and seat to your guest without necessarily using the seating section.

You need to follow specific steps to accomplish this. Use this article as a guide to assign a table/seat to your guests by uploading your guest list.

Designing Your Seating Chart

In the 'Seating' section, please create your floor plan(s) as needed. On the Table & Seats tab, you can create tables and seats using the Table Design Templates located in the Right column of your screen.

Please Note: If you want to learn more about this process, please check the following article Designing Your Seating Chart.

Once you have created your Floor plan(s), it is time to upload your guest list and assign the Table and the seats. Keep in mind you will be using the Table Number, Seat Number and Floor Plan's Name in the Spreadsheet (xlsx)/CSV document.

Please Note: This information is crucial for the process. If information not in the floor plan is uploaded, the system will not recognize or create it; instead, the guest field will remain blank.

How to Create the Information in Your Document.

When creating the document, please ensure that it initially contains the two columns that identify the table and the seat, as well as any additional columns you have created. These two columns should be named as (Name of the Floor Plan) + Table Label/Seat Label.

Pro Tip: If you need more information on creating this document for uploading to zkipster, please refer to the following article How to Upload your Guest List.

Once the Guest List has been uploaded, the system will match the Fields with the document's columns. After reviewing this information, click on 'Continue'

The new Guests List will be located under the 'All Guests' section. By selecting the guest list and adding the Seating header to the table, you will be able to see the table number as well as the seat number assigned to each guest.

On the floor plan, some of the seats have been assigned and will be coloured.
